FHWA Administrator Shailen Bhatt joined Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Secretary Mike Carroll, and other state and local officials in Philadelphia yesterday for an event to celebrate the permanent restoration of the final section of the I-95 bridge that collapsed due to a tanker truck fire last year. This project is a testament to a strong federal, state, and local partnership, working hand in hand with the private sector and local workers to get one of the nation’s busiest highways quickly restored.
